I love how intentional Masjid Al-Farooq is in creating a space of prayer for the Islamic community in Atlanta. Because of the commitment to reserve the space for prayer, I was unable to take pictures of the beautiful interior of this space. However, some of my favorite highlights were the sound of the Adhan calling people to prayer, learning about performing wudu cleansing before prayer, and seeing the sunlight shine through the main prayer hall as people knelt in prayer.
Masjid Al-Farooq is an inner city mosque with guided tours and classes available for visitors and learners.
